Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Fleet Operations Coordinator to manageour growing fleet of Japanese vehicles. The role involves overseeing vehicle procurement,maintenance, scheduling, and compliance, ensuring smooth operations and superior customer service.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
√ Organize and control the purchase, leasing, and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment, and fuel.
√ Liaise with clients to determine requirements, provide advice on vehicle types, hire rates, and obligations, and resolve complaints.
√ Receive orders and bookings, plan and implement transportation schedules.
√ Ensure vehicles are stored and transported under conditions that maintain quality.
√ Arrange collection and delivery of vehicles and goods.
√ Maintain accurate business records and prepare operational statements and reports.
√ Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
√ Coordinate activities related to vehicle arrivals, departures, loading, and unloading.
Employment Requirements
√ Minimum 6 years of experience in fleet management or automotive operations
√ Strong knowledge of vehicle clearance, dispatch, and inventory control
√ Excellent communication and client liaison skills
√ Ability to manage compliance and safety standards
√ Experience with Japanese cars is preferable
Qualification Requirements
√ Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Automotive Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
